Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 13, 2026
Our commitment
BluebonnetBuyer is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We actively work to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines, including WCAG 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
What we do
- Use semantic HTML, ARIA roles, and labeled form controls so screen readers can navigate the site.
- Maintain visible focus states and full keyboard navigation across menus, calculators, and forms.
- Target a minimum 4.5:1 text-contrast ratio (3:1 for large text) in both light and dark themes.
- Provide descriptive alt text for meaningful images and avoid color as the only way to convey information.
- Support text resizing up to 200% without loss of content or function.
- Test with assistive technologies (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, browser zoom) during major releases.
Third-party content
Some content embedded in our site (PDFs from government agencies, third-party calculators, or partner forms) is provided by others and may not fully meet our accessibility standards. We are working with partners to improve these elements and are happy to provide the underlying information in an accessible format on request.
Reporting a barrier
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site, or if you need information presented in an alternative format (large print, audio, plain-text email, or telephone), please contact us. We aim to respond within 2 business days and to resolve confirmed issues within 10 business days when feasible.
