Legal & Policies

Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to all paid Partner subscriptions on BluebonnetBuyer. By starting a subscription you agree to the billing terms below and to our Partner Subscription Agreement.

1. Billing terms

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly recurring basis.
  • Your card is charged on the day you start your plan and on the same day each month thereafter.
  • All prices are shown in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable taxes.
  • Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.

2. Auto-renewal & price changes

  • Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled by you.
  • The renewal price is displayed at checkout and in your Partner Portal.
  • We will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance of any price increase on your plan; the new price takes effect on your next renewal after that notice.

3. How to cancel

You can cancel anytime from your Partner Portal → Billing, or by emailing support@bluebonnethomesavings.com from the email address on file. Cancellation:

  • stops future renewals immediately;
  • preserves your access through the end of the current paid period;
  • does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund of the current period.

4. Refunds

Because subscription fees pay for advertising placement and platform access — not for any specific number of Buyer Matches or transactions — all charges are generally non-refundable. We will, however, consider refunds in the following situations:

  • Duplicate or erroneous charge — full refund.
  • Charge after a confirmed cancellation — full refund of the post-cancellation charge.
  • Platform outage preventing Buyer Match delivery for more than 72 consecutive hours in a billing period — pro-rated credit or refund at our discretion.
  • Account suspended by BluebonnetBuyer for reasons not caused by your conduct — pro-rated refund of unused days.

5. Zero-Match Promise

The “Zero-Match Promise” is the billing credit described in this Section 5. It is a billing remedy, not a guarantee of buyer volume, transactions, qualifications, or revenue. This Section 5 is the canonical policy. In any conflict between marketing copy and this Section 5, this Section 5 controls.

5.1 What it promises

If an eligible Partner receives zero Buyer Matches in their paid County-Seat during a full Qualifying Billing Cycle, BluebonnetBuyer will automatically apply a 100% credit equal to that cycle’s subscription fee for the affected County-Seat to the Partner’s next invoice for that same County-Seat. No claim form is required.

5.2 Definitions

  • Buyer Match (Lead) — any consumer routed to an eligible Partner through the BluebonnetBuyer matching system and surfaced in the Partner Portal, regardless of transaction type. This includes buyer, seller, rental, and landlord/property-manager inquiries — a lead counts as a lead. A match counts whether or not the consumer responds, schedules, qualifies for any program, or transacts. Declined assignments count as matches received for the purpose of this Promise. Expired assignments — those a Partner never accepted or declined within the 1-hour response window — do not count as matches received, but the response-discipline rule in Section 5.3 still applies.
  • County-Seat — one paid subscription tied to one Texas county. Each County-Seat is evaluated separately.
  • Billing Cycle — the monthly period from the County-Seat’s most recent renewal date to the next renewal date. Calendar months are not used.

5.3 Eligibility

A County-Seat qualifies only if all of the following were true for the Qualifying Billing Cycle:

  1. Approved Partner account — application approved, not suspended, not under compliance review.
  2. Active subscription — paid and current for that specific County-Seat (not past_due, canceled, unpaid, or paused).
  3. County-Seat active — county correctly configured in the Partner Portal, with a valid Texas real estate license covering that county.
  4. “Accepting Buyer Matches” status maintained. The County-Seat must remain in “Accepting Buyer Matches” status for substantially the entire Billing Cycle. Intentional pauses or extended periods where Buyer Matching is disabled may make that Billing Cycle ineligible.
  5. Response discipline — the Partner did not decline, ignore, or let any pending Buyer Match assignment expire during the cycle.
  6. Good standing — no outstanding chargebacks, billing disputes, or terms-of-service violations.

5.4 Credit process — automatic

  • BluebonnetBuyer evaluates eligibility automatically at the close of each Billing Cycle using Partner Portal records (subscription status, “Accepting Buyer Matches” state, assignment history, license/county configuration).
  • If the County-Seat qualifies, the credit is applied to the next invoice for that same County-Seat within 10 business days of the cycle close.
  • The Partner sees the credit in Partner Portal → Billing → Credits and receives an email confirmation.
  • No claim form, email, or request is required. This is the only credit process.

5.5 Exception path

If a Partner believes they qualified but no automatic credit appears within 10 business days of the cycle close, they may request review at support@bluebonnethomesavings.com within 30 days of that cycle close. BluebonnetBuyer will investigate using Partner Portal records, billing records, and Buyer Matching logs. Requests outside the 30-day window are not eligible for review.

5.6 Credit amount

The credit equals 100% of the subscription fee paid for the qualifying County-Seat for that Billing Cycle. No partial credits, no proration, no stacking across cycles. Applied as a single line-item credit against the next invoice for the same County-Seat.

5.7 No cash value; non-transferable

The credit:

  • has no cash value and is not redeemable for cash, check, or refund;
  • applies only toward the next renewal of the same County-Seat that earned it;
  • is non-transferable between Partners, between County-Seats, between accounts, or to third parties;
  • is forfeited if the subscription is canceled before that next renewal posts.

5.8 Exclusions

The Promise does not apply when:

  • The County-Seat was paused, canceled, downgraded, or transferred at any point in the cycle.
  • Zero Buyer Matches resulted from the Partner declining, ignoring, or letting assignments expire.
  • The Partner’s license, county configuration, or compliance status was invalid during the cycle.
  • The cycle was covered by a free trial, 100% promotional code, or a prior Zero-Match credit.
  • A platform-outage credit or other refund has already been issued for the same cycle.
  • The subscription fee was refunded, charged back, or otherwise reversed.
  • BluebonnetBuyer reasonably determines the Partner manipulated “Accepting Buyer Matches” state, declined-then-re-accepted assignments, or otherwise acted to engineer a zero-match outcome.

5.9 Company discretion; anti-abuse

BluebonnetBuyer reserves the right to verify eligibility against Partner Portal records, license registries, and assignment logs; to request reasonable documentation in support of an exception-path review; to withhold, reverse, or claw back credits issued in error, obtained through misrepresentation, or earned through conduct designed to manipulate the Promise; and to suspend the Promise for a Partner found to be abusing it while keeping the underlying subscription active.

5.10 Modifications

BluebonnetBuyer may modify this Promise prospectively with 30 days’ notice to active Partners via email and Partner Portal. Modifications do not affect credits already earned.

6. Refund processing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Refund requests must be sent to support@bluebonnethomesavings.com within 30 days of the charge.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your card issuer — most issues are resolved within 1 business day. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may result in immediate suspension of your account and a hold on future re-enrollment until the dispute is resolved. Fraudulent chargebacks may be reported to collections and credit bureaus.

8. Trials & promotional codes

  • If your plan includes a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period.
  • To avoid a charge, cancel before the trial ends; the date is shown in your Partner Portal.
  • Promotional codes have no cash value and may be revoked if used in violation of their terms.

9. Taxes

You are responsible for any sales, use, VAT, or similar taxes that may apply to your subscription based on your jurisdiction.
